We have one final opportunity for a new rising star to join SoGlos’s growing Editorial Hub team, as a Kickstart Scheme editorial assistant, before the December 2021 deadline.

We were so impressed with our first Kickstart Scheme editorial assistant, that she has now joined the team in a full-time permanent role.

The role of editorial assistant at SoGlos involves researching and writing a variety of engaging lifestyle- and business-focused content marketing and editorial; publishing content through SoGlos’s content management system; getting involved in creative social media; and providing support to the Editorial Hub team.

Launched to give meaningful paid work experience in the exciting world of digital media to young people at the start of their careers, this SoGlos Kickstart Scheme roles is being run in partnership with Gloucestershire College, who will also be providing further training opportunities to our Kickstarter.

Applicants must be aged 16-24 and in receipt of Universal Credit to apply. The role meets the National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage standard and is based at SoGlos’s offices on Imperial Square in Cheltenham. The role is for 25-hours a week over a six-month period.
