For generations of Gloucestershire families, the Everyman Theatre has been the setting for treasured memories – and few performers have become quite as synonymous with its stage as Tweedy.
Now the much-loved Cheltenham theatre has teamed up with SoGlos to give four local families the chance to see the legendary local clown in action, when Tweedy's Massive Solo Spectacular takes to the stage. And it's not just tickets up for grab!
After the curtain comes down, each winning family will be invited onto the Everyman Theatre stage to meet Tweedy and have their photograph taken with him – making this a particularly special prize for fans of Gloucestershire's favourite clown.
The new show is on stage from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September 2026, with this exclusive prize specifically for the 6pm show on Saturday 19 September 2026 and is not transferable.
A familiar face to many, Tweedy has become one of the stars of the Everyman's hugely popular annual pantomime, as well as bringing his own shows to the historic Cheltenham venue.
His latest production sees him attempting his most ambitious challenge yet: putting on an entire show all by himself. And, unsurprisingly, things don't exactly go to plan...
From troublesome AI technology to props seemingly determined to sabotage the performance, Tweedy has to rely on his ingenuity, physical comedy and unmistakable brand of clowning to keep the show going.
