The SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2022 promises to build on last year’s success, with an even bigger and better event planned for Thursday 20 October 2022.

As the build-up to the 2022 SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards begins, we can now reveal all of the 22 categories for this year’s event and the county firms making it all possible.

From the Business of the Year category, sponsored jointly by headline co-sponsors Hazlewoods and Willans LLP solicitors, the event will also see a shortlist of entries vying for titles including New Business of the Year (sponsored by Montrose Group), Employee of the Year (sponsored by GB Solutions), Team of the Year (sponsored by ReformIT) and Heritage Business of the Year (sponsored by Hewer FM).

James Fyrne, co-founder of SoGlos and managing director of the Gloucestershire business, said: ‘Last year we promised we would create an event to recognise and celebrate the amazing success stories which fuel and inspire our local economy – and the support we received was phenomenal.

‘This year we have been yet again overwhelmed by the calibre of businesses which have stepped forward to sponsor this year’s 22 awards categories – meaning we can make the annual event even bigger and better.

‘We cannot thank all of our sponsors and SGGBA partners enough for their support.’

Awards and sponsors also include Most Innovative Business of the Year (sponsored by Hartpury University and Hartpury College), Growth Business of the Year (sponsored by The Growth Hub), Family Business of the Year (sponsored by QuoLux), Green Business of the Year (sponsored by Ecotricity), Best Place to Work (sponsored by Brunsdon Financial), Corporate Social Responsibility (sponsored by Target), Customer Excellence (sponsored by Nimble), International Business (sponsored by Barclays), Entrepreneur of the Year (sponsored by University of Gloucestershire), Business Leader (sponsored by Gloucestershire County Council), Young Business Leader (sponsored by Green Gourmet), Apprentice of the Year (sponsored by Gloucestershire College), Public Sector Excellence (sponsored by Roberts Limbrick), Micro Business of the Year (sponsored by Business Furniture Direct), Small Business of the Year (sponsored by HR Star), Medium Business of the Year (sponsored by 16i), Large Business of the Year (sponsored by Evans Jones) and Business of the Year, Hazlewoods and Willans LLP.

SGGBA nominations will open next week, with a shortlist of businesses in each category then considered by a judging panel of experts from Hazlewoods and Willans LLP solicitors, as well as all of our category sponsors in July 2022.
