Situated in five acres of scenic woodland and celebrating the Forest of Dean in all its glory, Dean Heritage Centre will be the parents’ destination of choice this school summer holidays – thanks to a jam-packed line-up of activities which will keep the little ones entertained.

Starting on Monday 29 July 2019 and running throughout the summer holidays, there will be lots of exciting activities in line with Dean Heritage Centre’s theme this year of ‘Love Our Forest’.

Expect den making, bug hunting, woodland walks and crafts using natural materials from around the woodland.

If that’s not enough, the August bank holiday weekend will also feature tons of activities showing how to live wild in the woods like our ancestors.

Get stuck in with fire making, shelter building and animal tracking and learn how to move around the forest without being spotted.
