Slimbridge Wetland Centre will not open for several dates in October 2019, due to road closures in Slimbridge village.
The popular wildlife attraction will remain open on weekends but will be closed to all visitors on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 October 2019 for two days; Monday 14 to Friday 18 October 2019 for five days; and Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 October 2019 for two days.
Renowned as an attraction that remains open all year-round, with the exception of Christmas Day, Slimbridge Wetland Centre organisers have apologised for any inconvenience, which is due to resurfacing work in St Johns Road, Churchend and Kingston Road in Slimbridge village, from the A38 to the canal.
