This Christmas, Lilian Faithfull Care is teaming up with Cheltenham-based office equipment supplier Officeworx so local schoolchildren can send Christmas messages to its residents.

As part of its Christmas Letter Appeal 2021, Officeworx is creating Christmas colouring sheets for St James’ Primary School in Cheltenham, encouraging children at the school to draw pictures and write festive messages to residents living at Lilian Faithfull Care’s St Faith’s and Faithfull House homes.

The owners of Officeworx have a personal connection to St Faith’s nursing home, where their father is a resident, with the company designing the colouring sheets to give kids the chance to get creative while bringing some festive cheer to residents who may be spending Christmas away from their families.

In 2020, Officeworx collected 112 letters from local schoolchildren to deliver to the residents at St Faith’s – and it hopes the entire school will get behind this year’s appeal as it extends the scheme to include Faithfull House, too.

Children can write a letter, draw a picture or colour in one of the sheets and put it in the Officeworx Christmas post box at St James’ Primary School by 3pm on Thursday 16 December 2021 ready to be delivered.

Alternatively, anyone wishing to send a festive message directly to Lilian Faithfull Care can find addresses and contact details for all seven Lilian Faithfull Care homes and day care hubs on its website.
