Editor's ChoiceFamilies can well and truly get into the Christmas spirit, when Westonbirt Arboretum lights up for the festive season – with its Enchanted Christmas illuminated trail returning in 2021.
Promising festive fun on selected evenings from Friday 26 November to Tuesday 21 December 2021, families are invited to make their way around the magical light trail in search of Father Christmas’s missing reindeer.
Marvel at the twinkling lights and mesmerising spectacles while searching for clues and chatting to friendly elves along the way. And, if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of Father Christmas himself!
There will be Christmas villages before and after the trail, where visitors can soak up the spirit of the season and pick up festive snacks and drinks. With the magical event sure to be a highlight of Gloucestershire’s Christmas calendar once again.
Advance booking is required for Enchanted Christmas at Westonbirt Arboretum, with pre-bookable timeslots to avoid overcrowding.
Westonbirt is also hosting two relaxed sessions on Saturday 27 November and Saturday 4 December 2021, giving families and children with additional needs the chance to explore the winter wonderland without strong flashing lights, loud sound and smoke effects.
