This award-winning Cotswold vineyard is a family owned destination for lovers of great tasting wine. Boasting 45 acres under vine, the firm was established in 2007 before producing its first vintage in 2010.

Visitors can enjoy year-round tours and tastings at the stunningly situated Woodchester vineyard, where guests can explore the world of winemaking, walk through the vines and learn about the life cycle of grapes, while guided by one of Woodchester Valley’s experienced team. The experience continues with the chance to taste a selection of seasonal wines during a sit-down tutored tasting session.

Private tours and group tastings can also be accommodated in the venue’s on-site tasting room. Suitable for groups of between 10 and 22 people, the experience is the ideal day out for local wine appreciation groups, family get-togethers and corporate functions.

For those looking to immerse themselves in the vineyard experience for longer, Woodchester Valley also offers overnight accommodation in its three luxurious vineyard barn guest rooms; and for families of four or those travelling with dogs, in its retreat farmhouse.

Spread over three vineyard sites across the Stroud valleys – Amberley, Woodchester and Doverow Hill in Stonehouse, the winery produces a range of still and sparkling wines in both white and rosé varieties; using grapes including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Rosé.

Visitors can purchase their choice of Woodchester Valley wine from the Cellar Door shop on the A46 between Stroud and Nailsworth, when it opens on Tuesdays to Saturdays between 10am and 6pm. Stocking its entire range, as well as some exclusives, the team will be glad to offer its expert advice to help guests pick the perfect English wine.
