More than 30 employers and service providers from across Gloucestershire are expected at the forthcoming over 50s jobs fair in Gloucester this March 2023.

The Minister for Employment, Guy Opperman MP, is joining MP for Gloucester, Richard Graham, as a VIP guest at a jobs fair for the over 50s at Gloucester Guildhall on Thursday 23 March 2023.

It gives attendees the chance to meet more than 30 employers and service providers from across Gloucestershire, to find out more about jobs, training, volunteering and wellbeing, as well as sports and community groups.

The event is being hosted in partnership with Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub, Jobcentre Plus and Gloucestershire County Council.

Graham said: ‘It’s partially about the government and Job Centre Plus’s plans to help more over fifties get back into work or re-train and partially about highlighting what opportunities there are for the over fifties to engage in social and community groups that may let them give back to the city.’

The jobs fair takes place from 10am to 2pm and is free to attend.
