Made in Gloucestershire is helping the county's food and drink producers to take their businesses to the next level by exporting their products overseas.

Helping Gloucestershire food and drink businesses to bite into the overseas market, Made in Gloucestershire is sharing specialist export knowledge during its new, member-exclusive event, 'Get Export Ready'.

Taking place on Tuesday 25 April 2023 at The Growth Hub Gloucester, based at the University of Gloucestershire's Oxstalls Campus, the free event aims to encourage Made in Gloucestershire members to expand into global markets, so people from all over the world can get a taste of Gloucestershire's high-quality goods.

Hear from international trade and business experts, including export strategy specialist from the Department for Business and Trade, Stefano Pucello – covering the key points businesses need to consider before starting their exporting journey.

Followed by a session with branding and marketing experts, Eva Túnez Salvador and Janina Neumann from Local to Global, focusing on important things to bear in mind when exporting in foreign languages, including marketing and brand identity in other countries.

Delegates also have the chance to 'speed date' and meet Made in Gloucestershire affiliates, to find out how their businesses might be able to work together.

Founded by GFirst LEP in July 2022, Made in Gloucestershire is an initiative to support the county's food and drink industry – now with over 120 businesses and affiliate partners on its directory, benefiting from the free marketing, training and networking opportunities it provides.

'Get Export Ready' is a member-only event, which is free to attend. Anyone interested in joining Made in Gloucestershire can sign up for free, too.
