Promising a great experience and chance to celebrate Cheltenham’s many beautiful sights, this summer there will be a Curry and Colonels Guided Tour throughout town.
Taking place on Saturday 7 July 2018, the group will be guided throughout Cheltenham by Captain Skillicorne, enjoying a leisurely promenade throughout the town, taking in iconic buildings and stunning gardens along the way.
Captain Skillicorne will share stories and anecdotes about famous names who have visited or lived in Cheltenham, including George III, Alfred Lord Tennyson, and Charles Dickens, to name just a few. The tour will also explore the town’s unexpected connection with the East India Company and the British Raj.
Following the tour, the group can enjoy a great culinary experience, heading to Cheltenham’s own fine dining destination, the East India Café, for a cookery masterclass.
