A revamped and rebranded premium workspace hub in Gloucester is relaunching this August 2026 – and to celebrate, it's welcoming the community to explore a brand-new exhibition of artworks created by talented Gloucester students.
What is Dockside in Gloucester?
Premium office workspace hub at Gloucester Docks, Southgate House, is rebranding in 2026 as Dockside – featuring newly renovated spaces open to a range of businesses, from single desks to 250-plus person suites.
What to expect at the Dockside Debut art exhibition?
To celebrate the launch, Dockside is welcoming the community to an open art exhibition – Dockside Debut – on its renovated second floor, on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August 2026.
Sponsored by FI Property Group and delivered in partnership with University of Gloucestershire, the exhibition features artworks created by third year university students, giving upcoming artists the opportunity to showcase their talents to the local community.
University lecturer and artist, Holly Richard-Williams, is leading the exhibition, which will have works spanning multiple mediums from paint and sculpture, to printmaking and film.
Visitors can vote for their favourite artwork, with the winning artist getting the chance to have their work become part of Dockside itself – designing two banners for the front of the building, plus a canvas to be displayed inside Gloucester Brewery. They'll pick up a fee and plenty of free beer from Gloucester Brewery, too!
For visitors, there will also be offers from local businesses available on presentation of tokens from the exhibition, including 10 per cent off at Gloucester Brewery across both days.
