Concluding its summer tour of mini pride events, Pride in Gloucestershire’s annual festival is set to return with a programme bursting with live performances, discussions and debates – all in the name of celebrating the LGBTQ+ community across the county, this October 2022.
Taking place on Saturday 1 October 2022, following its postponement due to the death of He Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, festivalgoers will have the chance to see an array of live performances on the main stage and cabaret stages, while Speakers Corner will host a series of insightful talks, discussions and debates.
As Pride in Gloucestershire aims to ensure the whole community is included, the Family Zone will return for 2022; the Trans Area and the K&F Zone have been expanded; a Youth Area is set to be introduced; and the Multi Faith Tent will be back too.
What’s more, visitors will have the opportunity to go wild on funfair rides, grab a bite to eat at food stalls, enjoy drinks at the bars, as well as browse a selection of trade stands and community stalls – all taking over Gloucester Park for the county’s LGBTQ+ community.
There will also be a march taking place through the centre of Gloucester City, starting at Gloucester Cathedral.
