Give a new lease of life to your damaged belongings with the help of the talented volunteer repairers at Newent’s Repair Café.

If you have damaged or broken personal items and belongings sitting around at home that you’re thinking of throwing away, consider popping along to the free repair café at The Chill Out Zone in Newent, this March 2022.

A talented team of repairers will be on hand to give visitors’ items a new lease on life, every third Saturday of the month from Saturday 19 March 2022.

The volunteers will be available to repair a vast range of small household items including vacuum cleaners, broken toys, necklaces and much more.

What’s more, people can pick up valuable skills and tips by sitting with volunteers whilst repairs are being carried out – resulting in less discarded items which people think are ‘unfixable’ and creating a more sustainable approach.

There’ll also be tea, coffee and cake for attendees to enjoy during the monthly mending sessions.
