Who will survive the night with an anonymous murderer in their midst when Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter comes to Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre, in July 2024.

Following the resounding success of the original smash hit play, Cluedo is back with a new and exclusive whodunnit, when the world premiere UK tour of Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter comes to Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre stage in July 2024.

Written by BAFTA award winning and Cheltenham-based writer Laurence Marks and fellow writer Maurice Gran, as well as directed by the Olivier Award winning Mark Bell, the new stage production will run from Tuesday 16 to Saturday 20 July 2024.

Set in the swinging 60s, audiences will meet six new suspects, a new house and lot of new bodies, in this reimagined tale of murder, mystery and secret passageways.

This brand-new story follows along as rock 'n' roll legend Rick Black begins to struggle, having not had a hit for years — and he's penniless. But as he settles into his brand new and expensive home, Graveny Manor, Rick is desperate to revive his wilting career and reclaim his fame and fortune… and he's prepared to do anything to get it back.

Featuring the honourable Emerald Peacock; Rick's manager, Colonel Eugene Mustard; long-time roadie 'Professor' Alex Plum; Annabel Scarlett, his trusted interior designer; and housekeeper Mrs White, who came with the house and who knows all its secrets. The bodies begin to pile up and infamous, colourful characters uncover each other's mysteries and secrets, as they dart from room to room trying to escape the killer and survive the night.

Crowds — and fans of the much-loved Hasbro boardgame — can see West End and TV star, Jason Durr, as Colonel Mustard; as well as award-nominated actress and star of Coronation Street, Helen Flanagan, playing Miss Scarlett; with the two taking to the stage to present the hilarious production.

Jason Durr said: 'I’m thrilled to be joining the cast of Cluedo 2 as Colonel Mustard. I was a huge fan of the Cluedo board game as a child and the Colonel is such a great character. I am looking forward to bringing laughter and this ultimate whodunnit to audiences across the UK in its 75th anniversary year.'

With Helen Flanagan adding: 'I’ve long been looking for the right theatre role for ages and I’m so excited to be making my stage acting debut in the iconic role of Miss Scarlett. It could not be more perfect!

'Cluedo 2 is going to be so much fun and I am thrilled to be working alongside such a great actor as Jason. I can’t wait to begin rehearsals in the New Year, and, of course, wear the famous red dress!'
