Join The George Michael Story on a musical journey through the pop star’s life, celebrating his talent and generosity when the show brings its 2021 Freedom Tour to Gloucestershire.
Described as ‘the only accurate tribute’ to the singer-songwriter, the performance is coming to the Bacon Theatre in Cheltenham on Friday 20 August 2021.
Putting the boom-boom back into our hearts, the show will tell the story of George Michael’s incredible music career. Fans of the pop icon can relive his greatest hits from his Wham! days to solo successes – all performed in chronological order, with a finale that’s sure to get audiences off their seats and singing along, too.
Featuring a live band, the show will also be supported by video screens sharing footage of George, as well as interviews with him – giving the tribute to the star a heartfelt and emotional edge.
What’s more, to celebrate to the singer’s well-known generosity, a percentage of ticket sales and merchandise profits will be donated to charities supported by George during his lifetime.
