The Studio Orchestra presents Hans Zimmer at Cheltenham Racecourse

In a one night only concert experience, The Studio Orchestra returns to Cheltenham for a performance of legendary German composer, Hans Zimmer's most famous and iconic film scores.

Celebrating the music and beloved compositions of Hans Zimmer, The Studio Orchestra arrives at The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse on Friday 15 September 2023.

Performing an extraordinary set of moving and inspirational pieces from film favourites such as, Disney's The Lion King, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, Inception, Interstellar and many more, audiences are in for a truly melodic treat.

Conducted by artistic director and principle conductor of The Studio Orchestra, Jack Campey, the handpicked 70-piece orchestra is a spectacle of both sight and sound.

Campey said: 'Zimmer's vast and diverse composing credits means this concert will have something for everyone, a true testament to his extraordinary talent.'

Providing the perfect setting for this special concert event like no other, The Centaur venue is located within Cheltenham Racecourse and has hosted awards ceremonies, high-profile exhibitions and concerts with a 2,100 seating capacity, making it the largest venue the orchestra will play to date.

The concert begins at 7.30pm with a running time of approximately two hours and 15 minutes, with a 20-minute interval.
