A fantastic festive treat for families in the lead-up to Christmas 2023, theatre company Tread the Boards returns to the Cidermill Theatre in Chipping Campden for a pantomime packed with hilarity, adventure and plenty of audience participation.

Jack and the Beanstalk is on stage from Friday 22 December 2023 to Sunday 7 January 2024 — excluding Christmas Day and New Year's Day, with a relaxed performance taking place on Christmas Eve at 11am.

The story begins with Jack setting off to sell his best friend Daisy the cow, only to return with a pouch of so-called magic beans — much to his mother's despair. After planting the beans with a heavy dose of doubt, Jack wakes up to find an enormous beanstalk growing in his garden!

Follow along as Jack climbs the beanstalk, battles the hungry giant and saves the princess — assisted by his brother, Simple Simon, and his mother, Dame Dotty.

Featuring musical favourites to sing along to and marvellous dancing, the whole family can get involved by warning our hero who's behind him!
