Chez Mal Brasserie offers a laidback yet refined dining experience in the chic surroundings of Cheltenham’s Malmaison hotel, which welcomes both its own guests and non-residents to dine in style.

Located in the Montpellier area of Cheltenham, the restaurant is perfect for all-day dining, whether you’re planning a leisurely weekend brunch at the endless Chef’s Table, a generously filled sandwich or salad over lunch, or a sizzling steak dinner.

The menu focuses on serving seasonal dishes that take on global influences from France to New York, with its breakfast selection including dishes such as Chez Mal’s famous eggs Benedict, homemade granola, buttery pastries and a top-quality full English.

The restaurant’s experienced chefs update the à la carte menu seasonally in order to offer diners dishes featuring the freshest and best ingredients, while demonstrating culinary flair.

Expect dishes such as swordfish, red chilli and tamarind curry, served with pilaf rice, grilled Indian bread and yoghurt; Chez Mal’s exclusive UK 28-day aged ribeye steak; and pork fillet served with Serrano ham, sage, creamy Parmesan polenta, grilled tender stem broccoli and cider vinegar noisette.

The brasserie’s tempting dessert selection is not to be missed, with dishes including hot chocolate pudding, baked pumpkin pie, and classic crème brûlée.

From lunchtime until 7pm, every day except Sunday, enjoy a great-value dining experience by taking advantage of the two or three-course set menu, while Chez Mal Brasserie’s Sunday lunch offering is a decadent feast that also has the option of unlimited prosecco. Indulge in unlimited appetisers from The Chef’s Table, followed by your choice of brunch dish, main meal or Sunday roast; concluded with a range of tempting desserts.

The hotel also serves its delicious take on afternoon tea, featuring tempting savoury and sweet treats, which can be enjoyed with Champagne or cocktails for the ultimate special occasion.
