SoGlos has expanded its partnerships team this autumn 2025, with the appointment of two new experienced commercial professionals, to support the media brand in championing the county and connecting businesses with Gloucestershire's vibrant communities.

Eliot Binns

Eliot, who lives in Tewkesbury with his young family, brings sales, business development and partnerships roles with global brands such as Nike, Gap and Peloton and, most recently, for Cheltenham consumer finance company PayItMonthly.

He said: 'I love getting out and talking with business owners about their plans and ambitions. Giving them a platform to share and amplify their stories and better connect with the local community that they live and work in is something I'm really looking forward to.

'I’m genuinely excited and humbled to be part of SoGlos. It’s a respected brand in Gloucestershire, with a strong track record of championing local businesses, culture and community stories.

'Having experienced working and using SoGlos myself, professionally and personally using the platform, I can't wait to play my part in the organisation and the exciting plans ahead.'

A keen rugby fan and amateur player, Eliot was born and raised in the Cotswolds, went to the University of Gloucestershire and loves spending time in the Forest of Dean and Stroud with his family at weekends.

Joseph Wright

Joseph brings business development experience from The Logical Utilities Company and The Jockey Club to SoGlos.

He said: 'I'm really looking forward to growing my local network, deepening my connections with the people that make this county so special and sharing some of ways that SoGlos might be able help solve some of their challenges.

'It's great being involved in such a creative industry and vibrant business community.'

Joseph, who lives in Prestbury, is passionate about Gloucestershire and has recently booked his perfect wedding venue, deciding on Ellenborough Park, near Cheltenham.

He said: 'I love the county's countryside, beautiful hikes and trails and how so many businesses and individuals really care about the quality of things here.'

Commenting on the expansion of the team, Michelle Fyrne, CEO of SoPublishing, said: 'Our trusted platform celebrates Gloucestershire as an incredible place to live, work and visit.

'We're pleased to welcome our passionate new partnership managers to share what SoGlos can offer to a wider audience.

'We have recently expanded SoGlos's range of advertising services, offering partners the most modern marketing solutions available in the county, so Eliot and Joseph have plenty to share with local organisations.'
