Cheltenham PR firm appoints new managing director

Cheltenham-based PR firm, Target PR, has announced the appointment of a new managing director after its CEO, Sarah Bryars, revealed she is leaving the company at the end of February 2024.

Target PR in Cheltenham has appointed Sam Kandiyali as managing director, as Sarah Bryars steps down as CEO this February 2024.

Sam Kandiyali is taking over as managing director of Cheltenham's Target PR from Friday 1 March 2024, after the resignation of current CEO Sarah Bryars. 

The successful PR agency, which has been in Gloucestershire for more than 45 years, announced the news via LinkedIn, while thanking Sarah for her 19 years at the company.

Sam has been helping to run the independent firm for nearly 25 years from her position on the board of directors, alongside Sarah, Colin Spencer and Janet Spencer.

Colin said: 'We’re delighted to have Sam at the helm as managing director. She brings a wealth of leadership experience to the role and knows the business and the industry inside out.

'With change comes opportunity and we’re incredibly excited to see what the future holds.'
