Learn the skills you need to become a sushi master at KIBOU, with its new monthly sushi-making classes.

Known for being Cheltenham's original Japanese restaurant, KIBOU is a must-visit spot for Gloucestershire foodies — and adding to its authentic offering, the flagship restaurant is now offering those across the county the opportunity to learn the skills of sushi-making first-hand in its new classes.

Taking place on the third Thursday of each month from 7pm, each sushi-making session lasts for two and a half hours, and includes a range of sushi-making tuition, a welcome cocktail from Roku gin, as well as the opportunity to enjoy all of your creations in the restaurant after the class.

Great for a birthday celebration, anniversary or even a work social, the Cheltenham-exclusive classes teach aspiring sushi masters all about the origins and history of sushi as well as how to prepare a range of KIBOU's most-loved dishes.

This includes futomaki, uramaki (also popularly known as the California roll), hosomaki, temaki and nigiri.

Alongside traditional fish ingredients such as salmon, there are also options for vegetarians and vegans, which feature tofu, avocado and peppers.

Classes cost £45 per person, with a maximum of nine people per class. Please note, pre-booking and pre-payment are essential.

For more information, or to book, call KIBOU Cheltenham on (01242) 507984 or visit KIBOU's website.
