Wealth management firm Raymond James has announced the launch of a new branch in Cheltenham, headed up by Paul Whitehead.

Mr Whitehead, who was born and bred in Gloucestershire and was previously a director of Brewin Dolphin in Cheltenham, will also serve clients across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

According to the firm, which has an estimated £14.6 billion in client assets undermanagement in the UK, and $1.17 trillion world-wide, the new branch will offer ‘personalised and flexible investment services providing exposure to a range of asset classes’.

Mr Whitehead said: ‘Cheltenham and Gloucestershire have been my home for over 34 years and I couldn’t think of a better place to base my new business.

‘The town and surrounding area has such a thriving professional community, and I am looking forward to further supporting this community with their investments and financial decisions.

‘The pandemic has given me a chance to reset and consider what is important in my profession, namely, building lasting and meaningful relationships with clients and the resulting satisfaction of providing them with an excellent service.’

The new Raymond James office is in Suffolk Road. The firm also has offices at Kestrel Court in Gloucester.
