Freemans Event Partners has appointed Tara Warren as its new chief executive officer, as the Gloucestershire-headquartered business sets its sights on doubling turnover within the next five years.
The live events specialist, which works with globally recognised sporting and cultural venues across the UK and Europe, said the appointment marks ‘a significant milestone’ following the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations last year.
Warren joins the business after a 16-year career at West Ham United, where she served as executive director and helped oversee the club’s transition to the London Stadium, while contributing to revenue growth and international expansion.
She has also held a number of senior positions across the wider sports industry, including roles with Premier League and Women’s Super League leadership groups. Warren currently serves as a non-executive director at the British Horseracing Authority and is part of the newly formed Independent Football Regulator.
Speaking about her appointment, Warren said she was ‘incredibly excited’ to join the business at such an important stage in its growth journey.
She said Freemans Event Partners has built a ‘strong 50 year legacy’ as a trusted partner to major events and venues including Silverstone, Lord’s, Wembley Stadium, the Olympics and the Ryder Cup.
Executive chairman Stephen Freeman said the business is entering ‘a golden era for live events’, with increasing demand from audiences creating opportunities for growth and innovation.
Founded in 1975, Freemans Event Partners provides food and beverage, retail and technology-led solutions at large-scale events across the UK and Europe, serving more than 10 million meals over 1,300 event days every year.
