The 1873 Bistro at Gloucester Rugby provides a first-class, pre-match dining experience.

Kicking off the 2023/24 season with fresh matchday hospitality options, Gloucester Rugby is now taking bookings for its newest dining space, 1873 Bistro.

Perfect for corporate events and special occasions, the newly-refurbished 1873 Bistro joins the Captain’s Lounge and Legend’s Lounge at Kingsholm Stadium for fantastic dining and great matchday entertainment.

While Gloucester Rugby's 1873 Club is a members-only debenture scheme that gives access to the best seats in the house and the use of two private lounges, the new bistro space is available for both members and supporters to enjoy.

Director of marketing and communications, Nicol McClelland, said: 'We’re proud to be offering a new dining space for our guests, bringing the renowned quality of Kingsholm hospitality food to a relaxed environment in the heart of the stadium.

'Providing exclusive access to our private members' lounge, the 1873 Bistro is the perfect way to entertain family, friends and clients.'

The modern bistro, situated in the heart of the Malvern Tyres stand, has fresh hospitality packages that include a one-course meal, a welcome drink on arrival, a premium match ticket in Malvern Tyres stand, access to pre-match player interviews, access to Cooper Associates 1873 lounge bar and a 1873 lounge access wristband.

Other hospitality options include boxes with private balconies, offering seating for 16 guests and food packages to include a main course, cheese and biscuits and coffee and cake as well as a fully stocked bar.

There's also the Captain's Lounge, which boasts panoramic views across the Kingsholm pitch. Guest can enjoy a pre-match meal in the 200-seat restaurant before every regular season fixture.

At full time the lounge bar is available to use for all diners and is open at least two hours after the match ends.

Meanwhile, hospitality at the Captain's Lounge includes a three-course pre-match meal, complimentary bar up until kick-off to include draught beer and cider, house wines, single house spirit and mixer and soft drinks along with a match ticket.

There's also a matchday restaurant host, which is usually a former player, pre-match player interviews, post-match captain interview, shared tables of 10 and matchday parking.
