Global events company Freemans Event Partners continues its expansion in 2025, appointing two new senior team members to drive its commercial and revenue growth strategies.
The business, which provides food and beverage solutions for world-renowned events including Formula One and the FA Cup, has appointed Dom Hobbs as business development director and Dan Moody as head of revenue growth, this May 2025.
It marks continued growth for the Gloucester-based firm in what is its 50th year in business, with new CEO Matt Luscombe being appointed back in March 2025 and previous chief Stephen Freeman moving into the role of executive chairman.
Dom Hobbs brings more than a decade of commercial experience in the major events sector to his role at Freemans, where he will be responsible for driving new business opportunities.
He most recently led an international sales team for hospitality at some of the world’s most high-profile sporting events; and previously served as commercial lead for the premium department at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
Dan Moody joins the business from Jaguar Land Rover, where he was a strategic and commercial finance partner with a focus on driving programme profitability, shaping strategy and ensuring global product viability, amid shifting market regulation.
As head of revenue growth, Dan will lead group-wide efforts to 'drive and protect' revenue through both on-the-ground customer experiences and data-driven commercial strategies.
Matt Luscombe said: 'We’re thrilled to welcome Dom and Dan into their new roles at such an exciting time for the business. Dom’s sector expertise and proven track record in delivering commercial growth across global sporting events is a perfect match for our ambitions.
'Dan’s analytical mindset and strategic focus will be instrumental as
we continue to evolve our data capabilities. These appointments reflect our
commitment to investing in top talent as we continue to deliver innovative,
high-performing solutions for our partners and customers.'
