Job seekers can browse a high-quality selection of second hand interview clothes this September 2022, as part of the 'Wear Not Waste' campaign from Gloucestershire Recycles.

As part of the 'Wear Not Waste' campaign launched this September 2022, Gloucestershire Recycles has teamed up with the inclusive employment team at Gloucestershire County Council to provide high-quality second hand interview clothing for those looking to find employment.

Throughout September 2022, a rail of preloved smart interview clothing, donated by council staff, will be available for job searchers at the Employment and Skills Hub in Gloucester and at Hester’s Way Library in Cheltenham.

Interview clothing is a prime example of an outfit that's typically only worn a couple of times, leading to many being wasted and possibly ending up in landfill - but this doesn't have to be the case.

Two thirds of people wear second hand clothing currently, with the pre-loved clothing market due to be worth more than the fast fashion market by 2030 - and Gloucestershire County Council and Gloucestershire Recycles aims to promote this, at the same time as helping those in need with this sustainable initiative.
