Cheltenham Animal Shelter is the first charity to join the string of pop-up shops at Cavendish House in the town centre.

Almost 30 pop-up shops are currently open for business at Cavendish House in Cheltenham since it reopened its doors to the public — and Cheltenham Animal Shelter is the latest to secure a spot in-store.

The much-loved animal aid organisation — and former SoGlos Charity of the Year — is trialling an off-site pop-up shop at the former House of Fraser store in the heart of Cheltenham.

The shelter already has a charity shop on-site at Gardner's Lane, but the retail space at Cavendish House presents a fantastic opportunity to give the charity a presence in the town centre, giving shoppers and supporters a central spot to browse.

It's the first charity to join the string of pop-ups at Cavendish House and gives Cheltenham Animal Shelter the chance to not only generate much-needed revenue, but increase its visibility in the community and help to spread awareness about the organisation's mission and the important work it does.

Throughout the year, the charity runs a variety of fundraising campaigns to provide education and advertising for its services, all of which contributes to the care it provides for the animals housed at the shelter that are looking for their forever homes.

While plans are underway, an official opening date is yet to be confirmed.
