The new UK HQ for Greiner Bio-One has just been completed at Stroudwater 13 Business Park in Stonehouse, near Stroud.

The multi-million-pound UK headquarters for global manufacturer, Greiner Bio-One, has reached 'practical completion' this October 2023 and is now ready to be fitted out for staff.

Completed by  Robert Hitchins, one of the county's leading property developers and number 32 in SoGlos's Top 100 businesses in Gloucestershire, the new warehouse and office facility, located at Stroudwater 13 Business Park in Stonehouse, spans 53,500 sq ft — making it double the size of its previous warehouse space, allowing for further growth of the business.

Specialising in the development, production and distribution of high-quality laboratory and clinical products, Greiner Bio-One is a technology partner for hospitals, universities, research institutions, and the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries — with 29 locations operating worldwide.

Managing director of Greiner Bio-One, Shabir Ahmed said: 'We are absolutely delighted to have the keys to our new UK facility. It means that we can start the next phase of delivering a site that will accommodate future growth and development of Greiner Bio-One in the UK and enable us to serve the needs of our varied customers for many years to come.'

Senior development manager at Robert Hitchins, Micheal Plimmer, added: 'It is some time since a new industrial unit of size has been brought forward by a developer in Stonehouse. It has been great to have partnered with Greiner Bio-One at a very early stage to help deliver a building that truly meets their needs for now and the future.

'We’re glad to have been able to provide them with the platform to grow their business in the UK and to complement their operations in Europe and the rest of the world.'
