Fast-growing mergers and acquisitions group, GS Verde Group, which is headquartered in Cardiff, has opened its first Gloucestershire office in Cheltenham.

Cardiff-based dealmaking business, GS Verde Group, has moved into the Gloucestershire market with the opening of its brand-new Cheltenham office.

The multi-discipline mergers and acquisitions group, which already has offices in Cardiff, Bristol and Dublin as well as satellite offices in London and Oxford, takes up residence in Clockwise Offices at Festival House.

GS Verde advises business owners on acquisitions and exit planning, with advisory services across law, tax and accounting, corporate finance and communications under its umbrella.

It's already acting on behalf of clients in the cyber and manufacturing sectors, which are native to Cheltenham, too — with plans to grow its expertise in these areas and build on its existing Gloucestershire client base from its Cheltenham office.

Director of GS Verde's tax and accountancy division, Joel Dunning, who is heading up the group's presence in Cheltenham, said: 'We are excited to bring GS Verde’s unique multi-discipline offering to the Cheltenham and wider Gloucestershire area.

'We feel what GS Verde offers is unique and with a growing client-base in the area, we saw this as a catalyst to put down roots and expand within Clockwise Offices, with a thriving community of members.'

The news comes after a period of record-breaking growth for GS Verde in 2023, a year in which it was named the most active dealmaker in Wales for both financial and legal categories in Experian's Market IQ full-year report — a huge achievement which puts it at the forefront of the UK's mergers and acquisitions landscape.

Commenting on the group's expansion into Cheltenham, CCO David Dulieu said: 'We have grown our business both organically and through acquisition in recent years, and as we extend our offering across the UK, Ireland and further afield, the Cheltenham base is a natural and exciting next step for GS Verde.'
