Cheltenham’s famous Jazz Festival has announced that it will change dates in 2020 to coincide with the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

The festival will now be held on Tuesday 5 May until Sunday 10 May 2020, to accommodate the change in bank holiday on Friday 8 May 2020.

The festival will continue to be held in Montpellier Gardens, in the centre of Cheltenham, for more details see Cheltenham Jazz Festival.

Ian George is Cheltenham Festivals’ director, and said: ‘We’ve always held the Cheltenham Jazz Festival over the Bank Holiday weekend. We will still have a three-day weekend of fabulous Jazz on offer where people can catch their favourite Jazz artists, relax at the Festival Village, take in the music on the Free Stage or see the hottest talent in our ..around town programme’
