Independent cinema is coming to Cirencester

Cirencester will finally have its own cinema, when The Barn Theatre launches its social distance film screenings, this October 2020.

Barn Cinema is opening in Cirencester in October 2020, with Christopher Nolan’s Tenet the first film to be screened.
The Barn Theatre’s cinema is opening its doors for socially distanced screenings on Wednesday 21 October 2020.

The first films to be shown at Barn Cinema will be Christopher Nolan’s Tenet and British war epic 1917, with Disney’-Pixar’s Onward, Coco and Hocus Pocus being shown during Halloween half term.

Barn Theatre CEO and artistic director, Iwan Lewis, said: ‘Like the theatre we have tried to make sure that we are as safe as possible and are adhering to all government regulations.

‘We have been kindly supported by Cotswold District Council, St James’s Place Wealth Management and Cirencester Town Council to achieve and deliver this exciting development for us and the people of the town.’
