Cheltenham High Street is set to become home to Gloucestershire's first Roxy Lanes venue, with its official opening date finally being announced.
The brand, which already has a 'booze and ball games' venue in nearby Bristol, will open in the building which previously housed New Look, on the ground and first floors.
The leisure brand has confirmed that the Cheltenham venue will be operated as a 'bowling alley/competitive socialising venue' with activities including ten pin bowling; American pool; air hockey; duckpin bowling; a batting cage; karaoke; basketball; shuffleboard; darts; and over 50 arcade games including their signature basketball machines; as well as offering a selection of food and drink.
Cheltenham will be the 17th site for the Roxy Leisure group following its most recent nearby launches in Birmingham and Bristol.
Roxy Leisure’s commercial manager, Joel Mitchell
said: 'Following on from the successful launch of Roxy Lanes Bristol
and Cardiff, we’re excited to be heading back down south to open our next Roxy
Lanes site, Roxy Lanes Cheltenham.
'The venue will have something for all
ages from ten pin bowling to shuffleboard, karaoke to air hockey and over 50
arcade games for guests to enjoy. We look forward to seeing you all
The proposed opening hours are from 12pm to 11pm from Sunday to Wednesday, 12pm to 12am on Thursday and 12pm to 2am on Friday and Saturday.
Doors to Roxy Lanes will open on Friday 29 September 2023.
