The Everyman Theatre reveals details about Aladdin pantomime

Casting the wishes of audiences across the county, the Everyman Theatre's 2018 pantomime, Aladdin, looks set to be another sensational show; here are some exciting details about the festive favourite.

Written and directed by Blue Peter legend and actor, Peter Duncan, this year’s pantomime at the Everyman Theatre promises to be a spectacular seasonal show, starring everyone’s favourite clown, Tweedy.

Running from Friday 30 November 2018 to Sunday 13 January 2019, Aladdin will be a highlight of the festive season, offering a brand-new production with plenty of laughter and music along the way.

Tweedy the Clown’s return is sure to delight his ever-increasing fanbase, delivering comic genie-ous in his role as Wishee Washee; while Daniel Beales plays Widow Twankey; and Ben Darcy stars as Aladdin.

Speaking about the eagerly-anticipated production, the Everyman Theatre’s chief executive Mark Goucher said: ‘We all look forward to a pantomime at Christmas and this year we really have pulled out all the stops!

‘We have a whole new cast and of course, Tweedy the clown will be leading the mayhem. We broke all previous records last year and have already sold more than 20,000 tickets this year so book soon so you don’t miss out on the fun!’
