The Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards are back in May 2024, with an exciting new venue for the county's biggest lifestyle awards.

The Sub Rooms has been confirmed as the official venue for the seventh Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards from SoGlos, touring the county's hottest lifestyle celebration to Stroud for the first time on Thursday 16 May 2024.

Since launching in 2018, the Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards have grown to become the biggest celebration of the county's thriving lifestyle sector, recognising the region's best cultural attractions, hospitality businesses, entertainment venues, unmissable events and more.

With next year's event at The Sub Rooms marking its seventh year of success, SGGLA 2024 is set to be another highlight in the county's business calendar — taking over the entire venue for a laid-back evening of networking with finalists, sponsors and special guests, before the winners are revealed.

As well as taking the accolade of venue partner for the anticipated event, The Sub Rooms is also food and drink partner for SGGLA 2024, catering for the evening with supper and welcome drinks for guests.

Situated in the heart of Stroud, both physically and culturally, The Sub Rooms is a historic arts and entertainment venue that brings an eclectic programme of performing arts, live music, cultural events and workshops to rural Gloucestershire.

SoGlos's managing director, James Fyrne, said: 'We're delighted to be bringing the awards to Stroud for the first time and are looking forward to working with The Sub Rooms as our official venue partner and food and drink partner too.

'As a previous SGGLA winner, taking home Entertainment Venue of the Year in 2023, it's a much-loved venue that provides a hub for the whole community — and is the perfect setting to recognise and celebrate Gloucestershire's dynamic lifestyle sector in 2024.'

Entries for the Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards open in January 2024, when the county's lifestyle businesses will be invited to put themselves in the running before SoGlos readers cast their votes to determine a list of finalists. The winners and highly commended businesses in each category will then be decided by a panel of industry-leading judges.
