Visitors to Téatro Bar & Restaurant on spring and summer afternoons can tuck into dishes from the new Chill Grill menu before enjoying live music at the piano bar every Friday and Saturday evening.

One of the county's best spots for alfresco dining and relaxing outdoor drinks, Téatro Bar & Restaurant in Cirencester has launched its revamped Chill Grill menu for the spring and summer.

Renowned for its signature cocktails, piano bar and à la carte dining, Téatro has now reopened its courtyard garden at weekends for delicious food and drinks to be enjoyed by its 'Cotswoldian' firepit, before the party starts with live entertainment in the evening.

The restaurant’s Chill Grill menu offers an elegant, sunny alternative to a traditional Sunday lunch — and for the first time ever this year, it’s also available on Saturdays and bank holiday Mondays.

Diners can enjoy a choice of mains plus two sides from just £19.95 per person, with vegetarians and vegans both catered for, too.

Main courses include a Jesse Smith beef burger with Gruyere cheese; the 'chicken supreme' with tomato relish; grilled halloumi with tomato pittas; a vegan bean burger with relish and house pickles; chalk stream trout en papillote; and chilli king prawn skewers, or go for the beef rump for an extra £5 or lamb rump or beef sirloin for an additional £7.50.

Sides range from fries three ways; French, sweet potato, or Téatro with garlic mushroom, parmesan, truffle oil and garlic mayo, to pearl couscous salad with pesto and tomato; new potato mustard salad; fennel and coriander slaw; and mixed leaf salad.

Teatro's famous cocktails make the perfect accompaniment to your afternoon meal, with the team's own take on classics like mojitos made with Bacardi, St Germain, prosecco, lime juice, demerara syrup and mint; or sours made with Bacardi, Aperol, pineapple juice, lime juice, simple syrup and foam, with a great range of beers, wines and spirits to enjoy, too.

And when the sun goes down, the entertainment begins with live music at Téatro's piano bar every Friday and Saturday night, featuring pianist in residence Steven Reid Williams and a rolling schedule of guests musicians, performing a range of genres from pop through the eras to jazz and soul.
