Gloucestershire's only five-star country house hotel, Ellenborough Park, has completed extensive renovations to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Work on the hotel's 61 bedrooms and Horse Box Brasserie started in September 2022 and finished this March 2023.

The 15th century country estate and luxury spa, set in 90 acres of parkland, is a short walk away from Cheltenham racecourse that attracts thousands to the town every year.

Work on the hotel on the edge of the Cotswolds has revived the history and grandeur of the historic building.

Bedrooms are dressed with lavish fabrics, elegant wall-coverings, plush carpets and country chic furnishings.

Each room has its own identity, embracing Cotswold-appropriate colour-schemes with names like blossom, wildflower, chrysanthemum, gingham and rustic.

The Horse Box Brasserie has also undergone a complete transformation with soft leather brocades, low lighting, tartan flooring and tweed fabrics.

General manager of Ellenborough Park, Marwan Hemchaoui, said: ‘We are very proud of Ellenborough’s growth over the past few years, and these new bedrooms are a fitting celebration of our 10 year anniversary.'
