While it may be petite, Gloucester’s brand-new wellness café The Happy Shroom has BIG plans – the first of which is to become a warm and welcoming new hub for the local neighbourhood to come together and enjoy this lavishly-decorated new space in Longlevens.

Situated on Elmbridge Road, The Happy Shroom’s new plant-based menu offers an enticing selection of healthy breakfast and brunch options, from impressive Insta-worthy smoothie bowls to colourful superfood pancakes and delicious-sounding veggie burritos. It will also be serving a range of CBD-infused food too, including high tea.

The lunch menu at The Happy Shroom includes tasty-sounding veggie hot dogs, vegan smashed burgers and dirty wedges, as well as classics such as paninis, toasted wraps, soup of the day and jacket potatoes. Plus, a trio of tempting sharer boards - with generous helpings of olives, tacos, and nachos.

There’s also a fresh selection of vegan cakes served every day. And alongside freshly-ground coffee, chai lattes and smoothies, The Happy Shroom serves a range of beer, cider and wine too.

A friendly, wholesome new addition to Gloucester’s vibrant food and drink scene, The Happy Shroom is also dog-friendly – serving puppuccinos, no less!

Gloucester businesswoman and owner Angela Lovell said: ‘We are so thrilled with the welcome that we’ve had since we first opened The Happy Shroom’s doors, we really hope our new neighbourhood café will offer something for everyone in the community’.

What's more,  The Happy Shroom will also be launching a new series of events, which SoGlos will be revealing more about soon...
