Fuel, a new café from the owner of Simpsons Fish and Chips, has opened this March 2020, promising fuss-free dining in pared back surroundings on Priors Road.

Serving breakfast and lunch from 7am to 2pm, the new Fuel menu champions local produce from across the Cotswolds – including Hobbs House bread, Girls Who Grind coffee and bacon from nearby Waghorne’s Butchers in Prestbury.

Breakfast diners are able to build their own bacon sandwich with a choice of bread, cut and sauce. There’s also a kids’ selection, including a ‘tiny tank’ cooked breakfast served with a babyccino.

Lunch options include salad bowls, soups and freshly prepared sandwiches, with cakes and pastries available from the counter.

Owner Bonny Ritchie said: ‘Fuel celebrates my passion for great food, done really well and without too much fuss. The way I see it, the fuss should be all about the flavour!’

Fuel will also be adding a pizza delivery service to its menu soon, with sourdough pizzas made on site, available to order through Deliveroo from Tuesday to Sunday evenings.
