Five Valleys in Stroud will soon be home to Gloucestershire’s first Pieminister, as the Bristol-based independent pie makers are opening a stall at its new indoor food market.

The Pieminister stall will be serving up a range of pies made using ethical and responsibly sourced ingredients including British beef and free-range chicken and bacon. There’ll also be a range of veggie and vegan pies to choose from.

Pieminister will be joining a host of other independent foodie traders including Tomari-gi ramen bar which is open already.

Inspired by London’s Borough Market where Pieminister’s founders ran a stall when they first started out, the new Five Valleys Market is part of a big redevelopment at the shopping centre.

Five Valleys centre manager, Dione Moore, said: ‘The market area is really coming to life now and we’re getting some great feedback from our shoppers. It’s going to be a really busy few weeks ahead with more food to go stalls and artisan traders joining us.

‘The Pieminister unit is looking fantastic, they are another fantastic company with a great range of quality products, which is exactly what we want in our Five Valleys Market.’
