The hugely popular Pub in the Park events, from Gloucester’s own celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, is launching a new spin-off event series – the drive-in Garden Party.

Designed with social distancing in mind, the drive-in events will allow party-goers to pull up to their own enclosed private garden to enjoy food from Tom Kerridge and other celebrity chefs alongside live music and DJ sets.

While there aren’t any local dates, the closest party to Gloucestershire will be taking place in Henley from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 September 2020, with two more events happening at Knebworth from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September 2020 and Tunbridge Wells from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September 2020.

Pop up pubs and restaurants serving signature dishes include Kerridge’s Bar and Grill; Atul Kochhar Restaurants; and The Mariners by Paul Ainsworth. A Chef Specials’ Picnic will also be available to pre-order and there’ll be roaming coffee carts, ice cream bikes and other treats on the day.

Gabrielle, Kaiser Chiefs, Keane and Rick Astley are among the names announced to be playing the drive-in Garden Party events, with DJ sets from the likes of Basement Jaxx and Groove Armada too.

There will even be an ‘Artisan Car Boot Sale’ where partygoers can buy products from small, local producers.

The new Pub in the Park drive-in garden parties have been launched in addition to Tom Kerridge’s new Drive and Dine Theatre experience.

Tickets cost from £45 and are on sale now from seetickets.com.
