In line with the temporary repositioning, the centre’s opening hours are also changing for the time being.

As part of its continued mission to help people take back control when cancer turns life upside down, Maggie's is relocating its support centre from its home on College Baths Road, just a few doors down into Cheltenham East Fire Station.

This news follows as work continues on the new extension at its main location — opening later this year — which will help to deliver much needed additional space, providing even more support to people with cancer, along with their friends and family.

Up until now, the centre has remained open throughout the course of the build — however, from Monday 13 January, Maggie’s will be temporarily relocating to the community room on the ground floor at Cheltenham East Community Fire Station for approximately six weeks.

The Fire Station is just a few doors down from Maggie’s, on Keynsham Road.

In line with the temporary repositioning, the centre’s opening hours are also changing for the time being.

Maggie’s will still be open Monday to Friday but starting from the slightly later time of 10am and finishing a little earlier at 4pm; the only exceptions are Tai Chi on Wednesday and Fitness on Friday, which will now start at 9.15am and finish at 10.00am.

To access the centre, ring the doorbell labelled 'Maggie's' on arrival.
