A new luxury £5 million purpose-built membership club, connecting mind, body and soul, is opening in Tetbury in February 2024.

Billed as a place for members to work, rest and play, Calcot & Spa is launching The Grain Store to extend membership, thanks to growing demand.

With a waiting list for membership ever since the spa first opened nearly 20 years ago, the hotel is keen to cater for increased interest in wellbeing and fitness.

The Grain Store will have a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor gym, spin shed, holistic studio and an exercise studio, as well as a cafe to work, relax and refuel in.

Fitness classes include yoga and pilates with an emphasis on soaking up the serenity of the Cotswold countryside. There'll also be a dedicated team of personal trainers.

Describing the new development, the hotel says the club will allow members to immerse in a space that's designed meticulously to optimize wellbeing goals.

The design of the new fitness space will have picturesque countryside views and will be full of the latest Technogym equipment with bikes, treadmills, cross trainers and rowing machines.

Members will also get access to the hotel's disc golf, tennis court, bike hire and walks along the nature trail.

Monthly membership is £200 with a joining fee of £300 for access seven days a week.
