Whether you're looking to ace a game of tennis, or try your hand at one of the world's fastest growing sports, there's the opportunity to get better at tennis, squash, racketball or padel at East Glos Club - one of Gloucestershire's most popular racket sports clubs.

Offering expert coaching for members and non-members alike, with new courses starting this September 2022, the club on Cheltenham's Old Bath Road invites players of all ages to hit the court, catering for all standards with its fun and affordable sessions.

There's something for complete beginners and players looking to build on their skills, to the more advanced who want to fine-tune their technique and take their game to the next level — with course options for energetic little ones as young as three years old.

Led by its team of LTA and England Squash qualified coaches, East Glos's programme of training courses runs throughout the year during term time and in the form of holiday camps for adults and children during the half-term weeks, Easter and the summer holidays.

Open to everyone, you don't need to be a club member to sign up — or even have your own racket, as there are plenty to available to borrow.

For junior players, there are clear pathways to follow, helping them to develop their skills and progress at their own rate, with an emphasis on developing movement, social skills and having fun.

And for youngsters who take a real shine to racket sports, East Glos offers a performance programme for tennis and squash players who aspire to reach regional, national and international levels.

Individual coaching also forms a big part of the club's offering, giving beginners, improvers and more advanced players the opportunity to learn in a one-to-one or intimate group environment.

East Glos Club also offers coaching and courses in padel, one of the world's fastest growing sports.

East Glos Club's coaches work with people to identify what they want to achieve, so they can tailor their coaching to meet players' individual needs

As a bonus, all new adult members get a free 45-minute session with one of the coaches (40 minutes, if they choose squash) to get to grips with the basics, sharpen their existing skills and get to know the club a little more.

Members also benefit from a single membership, which allows them to play all four sports as often as they like.

Autumn courses for adults and children at East Glos Club start from Monday 5 September 2022.
