The goldsmith is a bespoke jeweller with a boutique on the first floor of Regent Arcade, which recently reopened in line with government guidelines, as well as an online shop.

Supporting independent craftspeople, the company is committed to sustainability, using only fairtrade, fairmined and recycled materials, as well as ethically sourced gemstones.

With this in mind, Bates Goldsmiths works with customers to transform their ideas into incredible bespoke jewellery that has been ‘consciously created’.

This includes using hand-selected gemstones which have been carefully sourced from trusted suppliers and using fairmined and recycled gold to ensure you know what is going into creating each stunning piece.

As well as handmaking beautiful jewellery, the jeweller also has an in-house collection which features stunning gold, rose gold and white gold engagement rings and more.

The company also do remodelling, which is ideal for those sentimental pieces, reincorporating them into a bespoke item.
