It took months of cuddly interviews and assessments of the waggiest tail but the decision has been made on the latest paw-some role in SoGlos's crew.
And we're proud to introduce our brand-new top dog, canine consultant, Jed the Silver Labrador!
His role will include checking out the newest dog-friendly haunts across Gloucestershire and showing how happy he is to be there.
Jed is paws-itively thrilled at his new role, licking every member of the team and ensuring the office is full of fun and games.
Founder of SoGlos, Michelle Fyrne, said: 'We're not barking mad, lots of our readers love pups, so we wanted to recruit a canine consultant to give us the most reliable paw-score possible for attractions across Gloucestershire.
'Anything is paw-sible these days and Jed's a diamond in the ruff, so much so, we're throwing a cocktail paw-ty to celebrate his arrival.
'We carried out a thorough Lab report, and although Jed certainly has a mischievous streak, he makes his feelings paw-fectly clear – his tail wagging leaves no doubt as to his verdict.
'He's absolutely Labrador-able and makes our team happy if anyone's having a ruff day.'
Jed's first assignment will be to give his verdict on Gloucestershire's best parks – look out for his paw-score very soon.
