SoGlos's industry leading and long-running annual county awards – the Gloucestershire Lifestyle & Community Awards and the Gloucestershire Business Awards – will feature brand new bespoke trophy designs for 2026, as a result of an exciting partnership formed with local firm Forge Motorsport.

Gloucester-based Forge Motorsport, a division of Forge Engineering, is not only a world leader in aftermarket automotive performance products, but also occasionally undertakes bespoke design and manufacture projects, drawing upon its team's extensive engineering experience and passion for high quality craftsmanship.

Working directly with SoGlos designer James Denley-Dufton – who has been responsible for both awards' brand evolution over the past nine years – the Forge Motorsport team took on the challenge of creating a completely bespoke new award, fitting of the Gloucestershire organisations, teams and individuals to be crowned winners in 2026.

The result is a stunning trophy blending beautiful wood, which has been machine cut and routed, then combined with laser cut and anodised aluminium. An array of techniques have gone into combining the materials used in the trophies, personalised for each winner and handfinished by the Forge Motorsport team.

James Fyrne, SoGlos managing director, commented: 'The amount of skill, expertise and craftsmanship which have gone into these new awards is incredible. All of our winners this year should feel particularly proud to have earnt such a stunning accolade to display in pride of place.'
