NHS Charities Together is benefiting a generous donation of £560,696.69 from hotel group De Vere, which includes De Vere Cotswold Water Park locally.

De Vere’s donation will help support NHS staff, volunteers and patients in key areas including welfare and wellbeing, assistance for patients leaving hospital, and long-term mental health support for NHS workers.

In this county, NHS Charities Together has supported Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust Charities, which helps patients benefit from additional resources, enhanced patient care and improved therapeutic environments, and to support staff welfare and improve the working and learning environments.

Patients leaving hospitals in Cheltenham and Gloucester are receiving enhanced assistance when they can go home while the hospitals are seeing improvements to their infrastructure and the implementation of state-of-the-art equipment.
