Teague’s Bar
Known for being ‘the most rugby-crazed pub in the country’s most rugby-crazed city’, Teague’s Bar is owned by former England player, Mike Teague.
Sat opposite Gloucester’s Kingsholm stadium, Teague’s Bar is famous for its rugby roots, and is the bar of choice for many Cherry and White fans, with an especially electric atmosphere on match days.
Café Rene
Reached through an unassuming alley in the centre of Gloucester, Café Rene is just a 10-minute stroll from Kingsholm Stadium and has a vivacious atmosphere.

TANK
Gloucester Brewery’s very own bar is located at Gloucester Quays, a leisurely 20-minute walk from Kingsholm Stadium.
Cool, industrial interiors combined with an extensive collection of local real ales, makes a visit to TANK a real experience for beer lovers, with many options for vegans that are clearly labelled. The venue also offers match day specials on occasion, with live music after matches.
The Pelican Inn
Nestled close to Gloucester Cathedral, The Pelican Inn is one of the city’s oldest pubs and is known for being a real ale destination.
A mere eight minutes away from Kingsholm on foot, the pub has won CAMRA’s Gloucester City pub of the year on numerous occasions, making it a great choice for a pre- or post-match pint.
The Dean’s Walk Inn
Located in Kingsholm, and just a stone’s throw from the stadium, The Dean’s Walk Inn is popular with local rugby supporters, in part due to its location, and also its rugby-themed graffiti which adorns the exterior walls.

The Cider Tree at the Coach and Horse
Just two minutes’ walk from Kingsholm Stadium, The Cider Tree at The Coach and Horses is a haven for both cider and rugby fans. As its name suggests, the venue stocks 34 ciders and perrys from around the UK.
Housed within a 15th century building, the refurbished pub is steeped in history, and its location close to Kingsholm Stadium makes it a popular haunt for fans, who flock to the venue’s garden when the weather is fine.
