Late night shopping will be taking place across Gloucestershire in 2011, giving savvy evening shoppers plenty of opportunity to snap up their Christmas presents.

A myriad of Gloucestershire shops and shopping centres will be opening their doors later than usual to cater for the annual Christmas present-buying dash.

Shoppers in Cheltenham are usually first off the mark, with the town centre’s shops staying open every Thursday evening from mid-November, whilst Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet will be keeping its regular hours throughout the festive season.

Late night Christmas shopping in Cheltenham officially starts on Thursday 10 November 2011, when a majority of the town centre’s shops will stay open until 8pm every Thursday until Christmas.

Beechwood Shopping Centre in Cheltenham is expected to be open until 8pm from Thursday 1 December 2011.

Regent's Arcade Shopping Centre in Cheltenham is expected to be open until 9pm from Thursday 8 December 2011.

Late night shopping in Gloucester

Late night shopping in Gloucester city centre is expected to start on Thursday 1 December 2011.

Both The Mall and Kings Walk Shopping Centre in Gloucester are expected to be staying open until 8pm from Thursday 1 December 2011.

Gloucester Quays Designer Outlet, meanwhile, is open until 8pm from Monday to Friday, until 7pm on Saturday, and until 5pm on Sundays.
